Thread: Help Needed

  1. #1
    Hey Guys,

I Have now bought my new $6,000 Pearl Drumkit, and am now looking to buy a new computer in the next few months. I need some help choosing a good kind. Basically, I am looking for something that can handle most multiplayer games, easily upgradeable (more ram, hd's etc), and all around decent. I do plan to have it run 24/7. I live in canada, and what would anyone recommend a manufacturer's model wideley availible please?

software/games I would like to handle:

    Bf 1942
    Cakewalk audio
    Linux parition/dual boot

Basically stuff like that. What do you recommend? (keep price in the ballpark please, I'm using canadian $$$ at my local futureshop or best buy)

    Thanks guys

    Welcome fellow Canadian.

Yup. Build it yourself. It's the best way to go.

Well, a purse like that will purchase a pretty nice PC.

Why the limit to Futureshop or BestBuy?
