Don't worry about it Ziggy. Windows is just telling you that it tried to fix something.

If you get more problems now then post here and we can tell you how to alter the size of your virtual memory manually.

how often is this happening? on what occasion does this occur?

u can increase the virtual ram but i dun see it as a long-term solution bcos u are using the hard disk to fulfill the demand
u might have to get some RAM if it gets too often, or too annoying

this occurs randomly, whenever windows wants to annoy you again.......

and the virtual memory is kinda needed by some apps......... photoshop and such will even ask (read: demand) you to turn on the vm is it is off........

just set it at about 1-1.5x your RAM and you should be fine........

EDITED to take out bullshit

--------------

I used to get this problem sporadically too. it doesn't affect anything apart from when windows is resizing your pagefile. Thats why I advised to just roll with the punches

Hey ziggy.. are you using AIM when that message appears?

I know a couple of people who've recently had "Virtual Memory too low" dialogues popping up.
They ditched AIM and the prob went away.

That depends what questions you ask and whether you allow it to access M$'s online system to search for answers. I've used it a few times and sure, somtimes it's no help, but others it's been useful. I suspect that regarding a system function such as pagefile usage, it'd be fine.
