I'm sure most of you have heard of them or come across them somewhere, Are they worth getting? I was thinking of placing one under my gfx card.

I wasn't going to buy it in the first place, so me downloading it for free isn't losing them any money.

    do you need extra cooling???

    are your temps to high???

if you answered one of these questions with no, dont get it.......

btw, i think a normal 80mm exaust fan would work far better.....

Yeah my temps have shot up during the hot weather. I was in fact thinking of using a 80mm fan but I just thought PCI exhaust would be simple just slip it in underneath the card and thats it. But I might aswell go with a good quiet 80mm fan then if I'd get better results than using an PCI Exhaust.
    Thanks

i dont know that for sure, its just my guess.....

it also depends on what you want cooled, if your GPU is running kinda hot, your prolly better of with the PCI blower, but if you overall system is hot, an exhaust fan will prolly work better.....

ive been trying to search for more info on the lil sucker, but i cant seem to find anything that even resembles a review

I have one set right under my video card with its oversized heatsink and blows it right out the back.

I would never buy such a thing. Ineffective at moving air because the exhaust area is way too small. Also way to noisy.

    Yeah.
You'd be better off hiring mice to blow on your card.

Now that'd give you something to look at through your window.

If your computer is getting to hot you can always get a fan or two but get a good one i recommend http://www.shopping.com/xPO-Antec_Antec_12...ol_Fan_unit_120 This is quite inexpenize and great value for money.

Sorry if this is off topic.

I've never been a big fan of having small fans in my system.
    ....
anyway! I think small fans are the most useless things ever, they blow little to no air, very innefective, and whiny little bastards at that!

I'd skip the PCI blower if I were you.
