Get an AMD 2500+ for around $70.

Then get a GeForce 6800 for around $280.

If you're gonna want to OC to 3200+ get some faster ram. Maybe some PC3200. Around $100 for a good 512 stick.

Get an Amd 2500XP, Abit NF7-S, 512Mb of PC3200 Ram, and like a 9700 or 9800pro

oh hell i don't know where to start. How about a budget, if i plan on spending aroudn 500 how much shoud i alot per part.

2700+ to a 3400+, allthough i bet it doesn't work like that.

No it doesnt quiet work like that ...2500 will overclock the same as a 2700.

ok well ive settled on the 2500+ and a gig 2x512 of corsair 3200 w/ a free pen i might add, and im looking at mobos now and the graphics card is still gonna take a while
