But if they need to doll themselves up, does it not make them slightly superficial? There just seems to be no blokes out there who will turn up on a date in crinkly t shirts and scruffy work boots.
And why?
Because its all about the image and first impressions.

I dont want to tell a person how to dress, or behave.
I just wanna meet the right one for me.
Its a shame that I am so judgemental for a person who is never outta trainers and vests, but when it comes down to someone you want to spend a lot of time with, there has to be an intial attraction.
And people who spend too much time preening themselves are not my thang.

My point is that guys often overdo it out of a misplaced idea of what you want, or what is acceptable; your duty, should you choose to accept it, is to indicate you desire an informal mode of attire as normal.

You might be helping someone over the barrier into a whole different personality.

I myself can be terribly stuffy when suited up; when togged as I am at the moment, I&#39;m every scruffy woman&#39;s dream.

BTW-I assume by scruffy you mean unkempt; please tell me you do not mean unbathed?
