erm...yes and no

yes - for business use, it is meant for admin
no - for public bcos microsoft expects the public to use the windows update instead.

but dun get me wrong, anyone with winxp can use that file without worries

I have edited the first post of this thread.

Has anyone successfully downloaded the file directly from the Microsoft site? I want to be sure the first post of this thread is correct information.

I tried 2 times and the download stopped near the beginning of the transfer.

get it off bittorent theres loads of seeders n stuff and yes tis final, n ya can use it on warez copys of xp :pirate: i have it installed and works perfectly
