thats weird.
The one which i downlaoded told me to replace only the tcp dll file in system32\drivers and thats what i did.

here is a small excerpt from the destructions from where i got the patch from:
Now restart your computer an press F8 short after the Bios is done and start in securemode (don't know the right translation!

Then we go into the directory C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS and overwrite the existing TCPIP.SYS with our patched one and the repeat this with the directory C:\WINDOWS\SERVICEPACKFILES\I386 and system dependend eventually with C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DLLCACHE.

i can find that dllcache folderin my system 32 folder...

my folders go from directx to drivers...........no dllcache

i have done a search for dllcache on my pc and it returns no results. you sure that folder/file exists??

The best way is to unhide hidden and 'protected operating sysytem files'.

I am getting the message during installation:
Setup cannot copy the file atapi.sys
Ensure that the location specified below is correct, or change it and insert "Windows XP System Files" in the drive you specify.
Copy files from:
c:\windows\system32\drivers (Drop down box)
Just wondering if any of you guys had had a similar problem and how you rectified it?
