I downloaded a file off of emule that i thought was a program but when i ran the exe it said it couldn't access drive d and then it popped up a message saying "your box now belongs to us". AVG didn't detect a virus and i ran housecall online scan and no virus either. I was wondering if this program could have changed something in my registry or my settings or anything else? thanks for looking.

Well first.. is drive D your external hard drive or what is your drive D?? secondly.. if thats all you cant do then try reinstalling your computer.... or do a system restore.. (if you have windows XP).. 3rd.. b4 u installed it did u do a virus scan on it?? ..it is recommended that you do that b4 & after u install something d/led from a software downloader.. also make sure your antivirus program is updated. Otherwise the program could just be interferring with others.. what program was it that u installed?? Try uninstalling it too if u havnt..

Probably some anti-piracy group. Most likely a hoax. If not, download and install Kaspersky.

It is never good to get keygen off p2p, except if it from a verified source...
Get your keygen from good crack sites.. they don't have viruses... B)

System Restore won't do anything, all SR does is remove Reg entries and remove installed Programs that have Reg Entries.
@dr99 - Just get the keygen from Kazaa Media Destop the one yo want is called: KEYGEN FOR EVERY PROGRAM/GAME EVER (NOT VIRUS, TOTTALLY 100% REAL).exe and its 113kb big .
