At first I tried the client located here but really thought it was not all that great.

Then it was suggested I try "BitTornado"

I REALLY like this Prog. I use it alot when DL'ing from GoSupernova.........Havnt got a bad file yet!

the best is prob bittornado. it's automatically forwards ur ports and it randomizes it so it's a bit harder to catch u. and the automatic feature has boosted my dl speeds
i must say i totally agree, i spent ages flaffing around with ABC and G3 trying to get good speeds, i wanted an all in one application so i wouldnt have loads of d/l windows up like with Shadows,

boy was i wrong, i've just tired out bittornado - had two torrents going and was actually using my full download bandwidth!

    goodbye ABC/G3
ABC is based on bittornado, uses the same core.
The only thinbg different is the gui.

yap man that abc client and auzure sucks lagg to much upload speed iam trying to get something upload 0 like bt ++ 54. client was good
    back in old days
    but i use torrentopia.org
is good program try it guys
and also i heard the BitComet 0.53.exe
is good program to its not bad
i also use torrentopia for searching so i dont have to go to suprnova sites
and aslo u can try GoSupernova
    searching program for torrent files
its ok like i said i tryed so many clients there is few good and amost all of them dont have options for upload speed to make it to 0
Because that makes diffrance for ur speed and other downloading.

There is no client that will increase your speed, only the settings you use and the availability of pieces matter. If the client you use will not allow you to tweak the settings to your liking then find another.

I use Azureus and I get speeds up to the max my connection will allow given that I am in a swarm with enough other users who can service that speed.

Soccerman - thanks. If you set the upload speed to 0 in Azureus it will default to your total available bandwidth (I believe this is a general case with all BT clients|) thus slowing down your download speed while the rest of us enjoy your max upload from you.

Setting upload speed to half of my max has always given me the optimum download speed. If your upload limit is 256 k's set your upload to 16 K's.
DOWNLOADING IS FUN - SHARING IS SUBLIME
When all else fails - read the instructions!!!

hasnt it been updated in the latest versions of bittornado?

i knew abc used its core bit somethings up with it, i couldnt make it happy

it was a love hate relationship

is shadows and bit tornado the same? thought ABC was shadows?

    Its all same shit man
programs bittorent clients most of them suck
and abc and tornedo what every u call it i tryed it all
but use or try ones i give u u might like it
and the upload speed slows u down man when u have on options high upload and u try to download from site its so slow because u upload so i think the lower the upload the faster inteternet u will have.
    Like in client BT54++
i had 0 upload and downloading 200 plus even 300kbs per sec
so it doest metter what upload speed u got it will not incrise ur download speed its all connection speed what u got
    .
Hey did somebody every tryed Uncap MODEM
that means hacking it geting 1 or 3 mb per sec downloading
    Go to suprnova.org
    and download UNcap modem
