Ashen
works fine for me try double clicking on the ashen.msstyles file

that setsz it but you need to save the files in the correct folder to be able to use it later on C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes

That's the problem.
I don't see any .msstyles file in the ashen folder
When I unpacked the folder it only contains a .text file,a fonts folder, shell folder and a Visual Style file --->

If I double-click that the style manager does open up,but 'Apply' is greyed out and just clicking ok doesn't do a thing.

And save the file in the correct folder probably is C:\\Windows\Rescources\Themes\?Not?

hmm...asspie

Installed it again.
Seems to work better now that it's registered.
Was able to change the theme with one of the preset themes in Style XP,but after dl'ing Ashen again Style Xp crashes when loading this theme

"StyleXp has encountered unknown error...blablabla" you know
Is it so that Style XP only accepts themes taken from the ThemeXp site,or am I just having bad luck with the Ashen one?

Btw,did it look any good, the Ashen one?

edit:
Just tried another theme (Souluna Remix final) and it works flawless
Doubleclicked the .msstyles file and it loaded perfectly

But erm...I was kind of expecting that the icons would look the same as on the screenshot They don't And that was the main attraction it had to me

hmm...asspie

Goo you got it working, sorta.

I have the same setup and I can use themes from any site, the ashen worked fine for me, so you are not restricted to themexp. dunno why it didn't work for you

re ashen, to be honest I didn't like it, veeeery small text but that might appeal to you.

re. icons stylexp does not update your icons but sometimes you get an icon folder with in the zip file which you can apply yourself, or possibly via an icon changer prog, I don't really change/use icons much, so I dunno..

pop a screenshot in the appropriate thread when you are done

srry I couldn't be more help

Nah,you've been a great help

Really liked the Ashen wallpaper, tthat's why I wanted to try it.
And I don't mind the small text either.
The theme I got now has small text also, and I think it really looks nice.

Theme I'm using now.

I'm glad I got rid of the boring XP-theme and icons

Cheers,
