Why Is Aol Crap?

hey, my friend is soon getting ADSL in his area and he wants to use AOL broadband, but im telling him not to cause every one says its crap....but why? what stuff does it do i mean?

you have to use that crap browser program thing
Not being able to truely enjoy the internet freely
you'll get im's asking you to look at whore's webcams
unnessary crap you will never use but you need to pay for
you need to make a lameass user name just to go on the internet
the aol program takes up alot of resources

aol has bad newsgroups
aol's population is made from people that are really really cheap and their kids
aol is just plain lame
aol has bad publicity
aol is a company trying to monopolize the world
they kind of cut you off to the www so you can slave all day in the aol portal with all the other idiots and cheapos
dumest customer support on earth
aol has had the same gui for 12 years
