    I noitced a minute ago it was at 50,000 i never noitced that before its at 13,000 now so not bad but why so usage hog

    im using 6.2 and it's at 5,200kb right now...
    i think it goes up everytime someone talks to you, and i don't talk to many people, so...

    Don't have 6.1, have 6.2, but I don't remember any unusual power usage.
    If a firewall program is installed, check your traffic.

    I think it all depends on how many conversations you've got going that determines how much memory it's using.

    I thinks its cos all renedring stuff and colours with newer versions
