sorry to talk about an old riddle,
the first post-
lol at the answer being to do with the look when he says they look identical in the riddle. smhI have two Coca-Cola cans side by side on my desk. One I drank half an hour ago, the other just opened. Both are identical in look and size. However, without needing to remember I and, anyone else nearby, can tell which is empty and which is half full.
Without touching or otherwise interacting with either can, how can you tell which is the empty and which is the just-opened can?
Spoiler: Show
From what I understand, the usual answer is "startling", and then there was "splitting" assuming you allow "ting" (not entirely uncommon onomatopoeia, apparently) as a word.
However, according to this wot I just found, you got many options more
That's all good stuff.
@jiggles, my hastily thought up alternate answer is that there would be a slight but noticeable fizzing sound coming from the recently opened can
I reckon it will still fizz in the can for a good two minutes. The sound will also be amplified because of the tinniness of the can
I am quite an expert on coke cans
