No-one said anything about turning the fans off.

My mobo temp drops about 5C with the side off.

Well i just tested it with side off and fansstill on and it still gets warmer for me i prefer side on. Depends on type of case suppose

What about noise. I can't believe that nobody mentioned that it will be louder with the sidepanel off.

Yea, its a little loud no biggie. I had my case off for a month now, I was just wondering if it was safe.

I guess not. I just dident want my computer to blow up (a.k.a get alot of dust in it) one day or sumthing.

my pal&#39;s cat unfortunately gets too interested in my pc when the side is off, toasted kitty would be bad

I have had the side of mine for almost a year, no probs but the thing gets very dusty

The average open pc case would be an irresistable temptation to my 10 yr. old son..He would be more than happy to rewire or Mod it for me(scary thought)..He&#39;s dying to build a PC with me (maybe xmas)
