He's alive and going strong, gonna' put him in a creek I know of later.

Hopefully that'll be good, first I thought I'd put him in this pond I know of, but it's a frog pond, they tell me the environmental people might not like it.

I think a creek is a good place because in the Aussie Soap Home and Away, there is a fictional place called Yabbie creek and I believe that a yabbie is what our Australian friends call crayfish. One can glean useful information from even the oddest source

The two first ones are from early this morning and taken by my sister, the third one was taken just now. I'm gonna' try and take better ones before I let it out, but first I have to make sure it's cool to clear the camera mem 'cos the batteries are bad and the memory gets cleared when swapping batteries.

Nah seriously, he is quite big, they don't get lobster-sized but they do get big.


Pretty tame tho', prolly easier to get to obey than the damn dogs are.
Only time he even got near to pinch me was when I held out my finger (with the glove on) to see how strong he was, only got hold of the cloth tho', but he was hanging from my finger so he could support his own weight at least.
