We have been looking for an extra car as our son should be driving soon (assuming he actually signs up for and finishes drivers ed.)
We don't want a brand new car but one that's at most 2 years old, so we went around the main dealerships to see what sort of expenditure we are looking at.
One thing i notice is that none of the cars have prices on them and we don't even get both feet on the forecourt before a salesman grabs us.
Another thing is that getting the price for the car is a task. Not once did we get a straight answer to the question "how much?".... instead we are given a load of waffle and asked questions about what we do for a living and how much are we prepared to spend.
Is it my imagination or do dealers do profiling before they make up a price?
Don't get me wrong here, i know what is a fair deal but sometimes i feel that the salesmen are trying to take me for a ride
