Chronicles Of Riddock

Hi,

I have seen this advertised recently and wish to watch.
However, I think its not the first part in the story ? I am unclear about this and was hoping someone knows which is and if I need to watch that to follow the latest.

It's the sequel to Pitch Black.

There is also a short anime film that sort of fills in between the two films: Dark Fury.

You don't really need to have seen the first one to enjoy the second one, but it will certainly help you appreciate the character of Riddick some more and his relationship with two of the main characters.
