Am i the only one who noticed that the .jpg part is all uppercase, try reanming it into lower case and see if it accepts it. and yes hosts that use *nix will notice the difference.
jpeg, jpg are the same thing its just windows could only handle 3 letter extensions so it was truncated. no quality loss in renaming it.

u can go into folder options, and uncheck the thing to hide known extensions. then just manually rename it to .jpg
