then there's a two year probationary period
then you're classed as a full copper and yuo can choose to specialise in whatever area
You will be chosen for a specialist area if you are suitable. You will not choose. Without being cynical, may I suggest rolling up your trouser leg etc.

JP It is eighteen to be a PC in Scotland. Although by the time you complete your training you are nearer 21.

Two year probationary period
One month training college, first year.
Three months training college, second year.
Ongoing local evening classes with exams at the end.
Ongoing 'street and traffic' supervision.

P.S. being a good golfer also helps. [/b][/quote]
Cheers Boab

Sorry for any confusion. that must be where I got the 21 from.

Just a Plastic Polis until that age.
