No Complete Data

i downloaded a file that said it was over 700mb, took 2 days to complete, when i clicked the downloaded folder it also said over 700mb, when i opened it, it only gave me a sample of the video, i opened it in mpeg encoder and it only showed about a minute of information on it, this is the second time this has happened to me, but i have had no problem with other files with the same size mb, can anybody shed some light on this for me,

Its more than likly in "rar" use winrar to put all the files into one (the movie).
