This is what i get installing the latest mega codec pack:
basically it does this for every .cpl file it tries to copy...any fix for this?
all versions of the codec pack do this on my oldest computer and i guess now mine is stating to do it to...why. :crying:
edit: well for mine i just had to uninstall the old codec pack then restart...but my oldest computer doesn't have any codec packs installed so why isn't it installing on there?

Are both computers running Windows XP?
Did the cpl file already exist on the old computer?

I'm on the old computer right now.
It has windows XP pro right now, it did the same with Windows 98 i believe.
The system32 folder doesn't have any of those .cpl files...probably because I am not able to install them.
And welcome back to the forum.
