when i put a floppy in my a drive my a drive makes the spinning sound and when i drag the file on the floppy and drop it on my desktop it takes forever and the file doesnt even get tranferred to my desktop and so i took the floppy out and it kept making this sound forever about 2 mins and after the sound stoped i put the floppy back in and tryed to transfer the file again and the same thing keeps happening.

have you tried with a different floppy??? cause it could just be your floppy thats broke (thats why floppys suck, they're to unrelieable)
