    how would i extract a sound from a exe.. such as from a keygen?

    my first guess would be to decompile the exe and see whats inside it. or use one of them programs that records what ever sound is being sent to your sound card.

    how would i decompile it? i would prefer to decomile it then to record it from my sound card if possible.

    i just tried reshack and it kept saying that the exe had been compressed so i couldn't get to any of the files

    What about putting the microphone next the speakers or is that a stupid Idea?

    We can record the music by choosing "What I Hear" option if you use Creative sound blaster audigy.

    if you have "microsoft visual studios" and the keygen was created visual basic... you could be able to decompile the .exe file and probably extract the sound....

    or you could use the sound recorder that comes with windows... that could be easier and cheaper...

    see How u had to bring hardware into it that I know nothing about I still think your best bets microphone next to speaker, record it as a wav and roberts your fathers brother maybe not though
