    Rainless Storm

I still can't get the hang of laying down pre-made synth-drum/bass tracks, I need experienced band-mates for that.

The vocal style has changed from a gollum rasp to late Emperor style yelling.

Also included is a synth and chorus verse.

There's very limited bandwith, so please only download if you're gonna give me some feedback or tips.

You WILL NOT like it if you don't have a thing for Black Metal, specifically for late Emperor,

You was right, I dont have a thing for black metal.
There was some cool melodic/rythmic ideas, I spotted 2 actually,
the 3-note guitar riff that goes sort of against teh tempo and
the chords that supports it. That was kinda cool.

But the moment somebody opened the mouth the song
went down the drain for me. Thats the way I felt.

And, its impossible to hear whats going with the guitar when the vocals starts,
the notes and the likes, it would be nice to hear them,
but I guess thats an recording technique issue or somesuch.

Thanks for the feedback, the 4-note guitar riff stays the same throughout the song and the rhytm guitar just speeds up with the vocals

    Night falls
    The skies light up
    enticing winds call
    and the ocean erupts

    dolphins dance
    lightning strikes
    a perfect example
    of my magical rites

    I am God weaving
    my rainless storm upon
    barren lands
    ungrateful hands
    to watch the heathens run

That was awesome. Good intro and nice guitar. Until the vocals kicked in. C'mon Vamp, sing. I know it's difficult but you can do better then sound like your being raped. If you need inspiration for singing then go listen to the song "When the Night Falls" by Iced Earth. Preferably the version from the album Days of Purgatory.

And even if you dont (it's black metal after all) then your, ugh............screaming has definetly improved.

    Hey, thanks man!

I appreciate it! I really don't have a voice for good Black Metal, I need to work on that, but I prefer this one to the Gollum rasp from my frist effeort.
