    whats does it actully fix up ive had no problems with XP so whats the point of upgrading when it will create bugs

    HERE is microsofts list of info. I had another page that gave a good break down, but can not find it. You could do a search on google also.
    When I installed XP Pro I thought it was very buggy to say the least, I didnt care for it and uninstalled.
    Then I thought I would give it another chance and the 2nd time around I got SP1 and it made a world of difference. There were so many changes I dont know where to start...lol.

    Yup, it fixed some bugs for me too. It also cut boot-up time by AT LEAST half.

    even if you've had no problems with it you should get it because it fixes some MAJOR security flaws that are well known by now and you are very exposed

    It allowed me to play GTA3, without the SP1 it wouldn't run correctly!
