Good "Leave-em-running" games?

What are some good games that you can leave on to ether:
Build up money, Build up population, Build up something else...?

I know these were:
SimTower

Roller Coaster Tycoon

The Sims (if you used that hacked object that forced your sims to have maxed needed constantly.. you could rack up some good money without cheatin.. possibly promotions, friends, and other such too. random outcomes)

Sim City 3000(make a very stable city.. it'll be like SimTower from there..time to time)

Stronghold and Crusader (if you make a very powerful castle and have assurence that your food and such will not run out.. you can rack up big gold and fight a more complicated war against the more powerful enimie..ridiculously large army..since it will slowly ware down time to time.. of course 200-300 crossbowmen in towers against 10-30 men raids will probably take literally weeks in real-life to ware down)

Age Of Empires 2(rarely can you leave this idle.. unless there is no real threat or you have a ridiculously large army.. ridiculously amount of townsmen gathering from ridiculously large areas of supplies. Now in AOE 1, the townsmen are lazy, so when they finish a pile of gold lets say.. they just stand there doing nothing..RON really pushes them to move elsewere)

well, that's all I can think of for now.
Anyone else have any suggestions?

here's a funny idea:
In gta vice city.. use that weapon mod that allows you to shoot rappid fire rockets (just like that gatlin). Now use a trainer that doesnt use any text code methods of cheating and set it to never have stars and inifinite life. Now go to a good spot with alot of peds n cars. Now put some weighted objects on the "DEL" key and Fire Key (was it "CTRL?). You could just try putting a weight on the Del and Left mouse key-n-button also.. Let it sit for awhile and come back to check your stats n stuff... might even get some gangs n stuff.
