When burning movies to dvd using nero, (im not burning a data dvd) it never works on our dvd player. The movies were .avi, would i have to convert them all to .mpg or somthing?

Yeah, you have to encode them.

Because it's the easiest, use WinAVI. It's set by default to do what you need. Basically click on the DVD button of the interface. Point it to your .avi, Choose an output folder, then click OK.

This will convert the .avi to the .bup, .ifo and .vob files that you need.

Afterwards use Nero to burn all of the files in your output folder to the DVD.

Also make sure you choose your media wisely.

    DVD - R (most universal)
DVD + R (has problems on older model Dvd Players)
DVD - RW (same as above)
DVD + RW (same as above)

But every player is different. Some like DVD+RW better than DVD-R.. and so on. Just test it out

Click for more activation options, then activate by telephone. Run the keygen.
