    I asked this question before but nobody gave me a straight answer.
    I was just wondering if xbox reads vcd's.If somwone noes can you plz tell me.

    xbox does not read vcds or svcds or xvcds or divx, xvid etc etc unless you have it chipped.

    on the other hand, i have had the experience in which it DID read a bunch of anime copied directly to CD, still in DiVX format / whatever format the encoder used. Not 100% sure if it will work on every x-box, but It DID work on my friends (un-modded, btw)

    Try a google on xbox divx player, I think there is one floating about.
