I have the same pblm in IE as well although I just fall down and then it no longer jives me anymore...

Revisit the site, or just don't clear out your cookies or cache.

This is an old bug in Firefox that was resolved a long time ago. Are you using the latest version and a clean profile?

Why would that make icons disappear. The bookmarks themselves actually work perfectly.
I don't have the latest FF cause of problems with this board (0.9.2 here) but I'm fairly sure the problem isn't specific to that.

Since Firefox saves all the bookmarks in a single *.html file, the actual URL's may work but I think the latest version of Firefox reads the coding differently.
My advice: Rebuild your bookmarks from scratch.
