if my mouse idle, the wmp/winamp/or any other music playing software will do something 'brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt' sound. like distorted or so. i have to move my mouse around and around to prevent this.

owh, btw this thing happened to some videos to. i keep thinking its either about my quick heating cpu or the softwares themselves.

reinstall your codec packs and reisntall sound drivers.

also make sure microphone is disabled in your sound properties. I've heard some pretty weird things from the microphone jack.

i had removed my microphone jack and that brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt sound still there.

its not always 'brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt'ing but just sometimes. i dont know what the hell it is. the thing in my mind now is the heating of my cpu.

Where do you get your music? Maybe you are listening to RIAA re-mix of your songs?
