well it really took me a while to catch up with dis thread. Really sharin how to burn PS2 games wid others impressed me. Anyhow to my question:

Normally i rent PS2 games from BLOCKBUSTER or ROGERS, my question is: wad are da stuff i need to make a copy of those games....i know dat i need a modchip, which one is better. Wad are the software(s) i need to burn the orignal game to a CDr or DVD disk.

I do hav a DVD burner, CD burner, and lods of free hard disk space.

Any help on dis would be great!! :helpsmile:

nero isnt all that great for burning dvds, the best i think (and most other people think) is record now max.

Ive never got a bad burn with nero. Plus i really like their imaging tool. And from what ive seen others would pick Nero over many other progs.

But heres i site i found recently for mod-chips... very cheap

Hey quick question is there ANY way to play the game without a damned modchip? I have a DVD + CD burner, but theres no way I'd be able to get a modchip. Any help?

look my post above^^^ you need a Slide Card and Swap Magic to be able to play the PS2 games!

In reference to MOD CHIPS I have been reading most of the posts here and I have enjoyed them allot as a newbi it has been a great help to me so a big thank you to all who have contributed. One.....or two questions keep cropping up that as yet I have not seen an answer to and they are where can I get a mod chip and how do I fix it to my ps2 so I kept going through the posts hoping to see the answer to these questions, as I say up to yet I have not come across the answer so I decided to search for the answer using google. here is a link for mod chip U.K and also a link for fitting mod chip here you can download a number of pdf tuts with diagrams showing you how it is done I hope my small contribution is helpful Keep up the good work folks and thanks again
