nope. it just doesnt turn on, i flip the switch on the back, and just no lil' red light in the front

when i flip the switch though, i do hear a noise, its just the fan, it twitches a lil when i flip da switch, like, its trying to turn on..or something

Ive had that before. Did you accidently unplug anything? Make sure all connections are in all the way. As long as you didnt break anything off you can still fix it.

so you had that happends before, what was it that you accidentally unplugged? i havent unplugged anything from my ps2

actually, the reset/eject cable might be jacked up...maybe thats why i cant see lil' red light.

but

even if it is, why is the fan twitching when i flip the switch on the back?

Ever since I played MGS 2 on ps2.. i was hooked

i noticed some companys didnt put as much effort in their games as Konami did.. Jak and Daxter 1 was pretty slick, but then Jak 2.. wtf kinda lame. OoOoO all buff now... i hate sequals.

Gta San Andreas shall make another step to the higher generation of gameing.

i fixed my ps2, i just took it completely apart, the eject/reset cable was disconnected, so i connected it, and now everything is dandy, and i dont get anymore problems with the ps2 reading the san andreas disk.
