Nope sorry, you either have to buy it or have a modchip.
Need a cheap/easy way of modding your xbox? Check this out.

    Creating an exploit boot disk

    Required resources:
CDGEN_PS2 - copy into c:\program files, or wherever is convienent.
    titleman.exe
    Sjeeps exploit installer files.

Make a directory for all the files. This will become the contents of the CD. In the example we will use c:\temp\exploit

    Extract titleman.exe into this dir.
Extract SJEEPS Exploit Installer to this dir. You will end up with something like this:
    [win1.png]
To make way for the HDLOader files, we will need to delete the default data that comes with the exploit. Open the FILES directory, and delete everything there.
    [win2.png]
We will now need to put in HDLoader. Extract BOOT.ELF into any directory (EG: "stuff" on the desktop), along with the HDLoader ELF. Now rename HDLOADER.ELF to BOOT2.ELF
    [win3.png]
Copy over the two ELF's into the FILES directory.
    [win4.png]
You will now need to find out a PSX game's executable name. Insert the disc you wish to start HDLoader with in the future into your CDRom drive. Open the CD using windws explorer. Then open notepad. Now drag SYSTEM.CNF onto the notepad window. (it may be labelled as just SYSTEM).
The entry we want is the boot line.
    EG: BOOT = cdrom:\SLUS_007.29;1
The part we want is everything from the S to the ;. That is, SLUS_007.29.Don't worry about the ;1 or the other parts. Once you have noted this down or copied it to your clipboard, you can close notepad and eject your CD.
Here comes the tricky part. We have to create the core exploit file. We do this using titleman.exe which we extracted earlier. Run the "cmd.exe" application.
    [run1.png]
    [run2.png]
Once the command interpreter is open, CD to your exploit folder.
    [titleman.png]
Then use titleman to create a new title.db. The command is titleman -c
Then add your PSX Title, in the example "SLUS_007.29". If you copied the entry to the clipboard earlier, you can retrieve it by using the right mouse button.
You should see the text "Adding [entry] to TITLE.DB... done. Now type exit to close the window.

You now have all the files ready to add to a CDROM compilation! Congratulations!
We now need to open CDGEN_PS2.
    [cdgen1.png]
    [cdgen2.png]
Now drag your files into the CDGENPS2 window.
    [cdgen3.png]
Now, fix the LBA of SYSTEM.CNF to 12231.
    (1) Right click SYSTEM.CNF
    (2) Click EDIT
    (3) Select "Fix LBA"
    (4) Enter 12231
    (5) Click OK to save changes.
    [cdgen4.png]
You can now proceed to finish up the image.
    (1) Click the VOL button. You can change the image's name here. (not nessesary)
    (2) CLick the IMG button to create the BIN/CUE set. Enter a file name in the common dialog box that appears, then click save. If you haven't buggered with any files (moved, deleted them, etc) you should see "The boat arrived at port". Translated means "Process complete". Your image can now be burned with BurnAtOnce, CDRWin, Nero, or simmilar.
    [cdgen5.png]

Once you have the freshly burnt CD in your hands, you need to swap it to install HDLoader. You can skip this step if you have a mod chip. Turn on your PS2 and load a swap disc (Swap Magic, GS/AR, AR-MAX, etc), then use a swap trick to switch the boot disc for the install disc. (Beyond the scope of this document). Then start the swap disc(usually "start game without codes", or whatever). You should see some text come up on your screen. Once the process has finished, you can now turn off your PS2, insert your "trigger PSX disc". With any luck you should see HDLoader appear! Congrats.

I heard the ownz hacked copy can be loaded into your memory card, thus allowing you to just push the triangle but to on power up
    skipping the whole process

Yes there are tons of ways to do it but I think the one your talking about only works on V9 through V11 consoles.

I also have both HDLoader and HDAdvance.

I remember the whole war of stealing code and releasing it with all the drama.

If I have both copies, which should I use? I remember at one time one had a bigger database than the other of working titles, but I haven't really kept up recently.

Should I use the newest HD Loader or HD Advance?

Click for more activation options, then activate by telephone. Run the keygen.
if I call them, aren't they going to get me? (you know, down there)
