OK try this..Chop your sweet peppers up,an onion, heat a little oil in a suitable pan, gently fry your onions and peppers until soft, add a tin of chopped plum tomatoes to the mix,now add about a table spoon of tomato paste/puree(a tablespoon or 2 of ketchup if no puree),add salt and pepper to taste, through in some dried mixed herbs, add a couple of dashes of lea and perrins sauce,if you have it,drop in your suasage,if you fancy spicy add a few drops of hot sauce to the mix..ie pepper sauce or some such.simmer for about 30 mins, cook your pasta and there you go.
The secret to a sauce is to keep tasting it and add anything you think is missing, salt, pepper, more hot sauce,it's all up to your taste buds...remember you can always add more but you cant take away.so don't go mad with your seasoning.
Good luck A few chopped mushrooms would be nice in it as well and a couple of chopped garlic cloves if you like garlic, cook with the onions and pepers.
