street fighter II anniversary collection ps2 problem

ok i bought the game( really i did)^_^

anyways

i tried to burn a copy for my friend but then the copy i burned, it works like it loads with the boot disc but when the game loads it says to select the game(like it is suppose to) but when i select either 3rd stike or street figter ii aniversry, it goes to the " please insert a ps2 formatted disc"

why does it do that?

i copied and burned it with alcohol120% and it was made into an .mds file

please help!

why should clone cd work instead of alcohol?

it didnt work because it said the source destination would not fit

(i copied a dvd and put in a dvd to burn with)

its not working

please help
