im looking to get a wireless print server so i dont always have to keep plugging it into my laptop when printing. im looking for something like this http://www.planetmicro.co.uk/product...&source=kelkoo but i cant seem to find them any cheaper, the printer is parralel, but if i found a cheap enough wireless usb server i would proably get a new printer aswell. does anyone know where to get one like that cheaper.

i also found this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...132913938&rd=1 on ebay, but does anyone knwo if it work with any pcmcia card, or does it have to be a certain netgear one.

also a router with a built in print server isnt any use, as the cable point for the modem is to far away from where i want the printer.

Are you using a desktop computer on the same network? If so, can't you connect the printer to that PC? It could act as a printserver.

Btw... Congrats on your 50,000 points.

nope, all computers on the network are laptops. i do have my old desktop but im in the process of selling it, and it doesnt have a wireless card, so doesnt have network acces anyway, and is to far away from the router.

cheers, although doesnt look like ill be catching you, ive kinda slowed down a bit on the folding.

I don't know of any but just wanted to say that you should get a USB one, although it is more expensive, since in teh future if you want to buy a new printer it will be USB and you will need to buy a new print server.

i seen that one lynx,. the thing is my printer is parralel, but the price of print servers in general are pretty dear, wasnt wanting to spend that much money. i was saying if i found a cheap enough usb one, id probably invest in a usb printer too.
