    Yep got RMA 3days ago,was just waiting for anti static bags to be delivered,got them now so will take it out later or tomorrow.

    Do you have to return it to Amsterdam?

    For some odd reason my shop's Seagate RMAs go there.
    We're hoping to get our replacements packed in hash.

    Unlikely, methinks.

    One can only dream. But wouldn't pot offer better impact absorption?

    If they shipped it packed in hash, we wouldn't care if the drive survived the trip.....

    I got the email confirmation with my RMA from Amsterdam but send the drive back to Coventry,England.

    Hash packed hard drives...now theres an idea

    Took the drive out with no problems and sent back today so thanks to all who helped.

    Oh well.

    Either way, such a drive would probably refuse to spin up before 3 in the afternoon and leave you with a bloodshot monitor....
