I have a Packard Bell Diamond 1200 PLus scanner and having serious problems with trying to reinstall it. I dont have the install cd anymore, so i tried downloading the drivers instead, and none of them will work. I need my scanner for an upcoming project so any help will be appreciated.
In Device Manager it says that its already installed but it isnt and wont work properly. (I think it used drivers from somethign else to install it, leaving it seriously messed up)
Thanks Again

Wow! I just visited the Packard Bell site and went to their support page.
http://www.packardbell.com/products/support.htm
There isn't even a link for USA or Canada. I guess they don't think that North America exists.
Anyway,... The first this to do is uninstall the scanner in the device manager and then make sure your USB is properly installed and working. Then download and install the drivers for your scanner from here: http://support.packardbell.com/uk/my...roup=2000#show

ok thanks for the help
It now recognises that the scanner is there and if i click on it i get this error:
The scanning software could not be found, or your scanner is not connected. Please make sure you scanner and your scanning software are properly installed
So i decided to try doing it from my scanning software and i get this error:
Could not obtain TWAIN source. Make sure there is a valid source for your scanner in the TWAIN directory foudn in the windows directory.
Any more ideas?
