How does it confuse? I think the message is quite clear. Does is disturb your composure? ROFL.
Any American? Do you think all Americans think like you do? Any american is pretty broad. We're american..
Disconcerting: synonyms- disturbing, alarming, upsetting, perplexing...
I don't consider those who defame the American flag (do you know what the American flag stands for? consider...) Americans. It should be disconcerting to any American who loves their country. If you don't love this country, why be American?

Do you have any idea what an upside down american flag means, Manny. No cheating...stay away from google.
Its defamation. Simple reasoning due to it being out of it's proper use.

An upside down flag is a distress signal, recognized throughout the military. It is not defamation.
Ancient Bush family proverb; Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day... drown him in the lake and he'll never be hungry again.
Any Which Way.... because there's more to it than Fox tells you.
Tough shit. I've earned the right to put them there...Originally Posted by spinningfreemanny

it is to be used sparingly, not on a web page. The casual use of such is considered defamation by flag code; most Americans will indeed see it that way.
EDIT: Due what you will.
