    Which version is better when I only need java for Azureus ?

    J2SE 5.0

    or:

    J2SE 1.4.2

    Ive been using the new version(j2SE5.0) with no problems.Its perfect if your only using it for Azureus..I noticed less memory and CPU being used when I installed this

    Why the size difference

    J2SE 5.0 = 43.9M

    J2SE 1.4.2 = 15M

    I think youve downloaded the version with "Netbeans" in it

    I have 1.4.2 here with AZ and all is fine and I have no intention on changing it...

    Dont change if you use Limewire...Limewire wont run on the newer(beta) version of Java for some reason yet

    Damn, I wish someone made the Java runtime installer without the
    crap. I mean, it adds some stuff on the startup and the WebStart shortcut on the
    desktop.

    I just need the runtime libraries to run some java apps (like azureus),
    nothing more, nothing less.
