A woman once said to Winston Churchill, "Are you not thrilled to know, Mr Churchill, that every time you make a speech, the hall is packed to overflowing?"
The great man replied; "Yes indeed, it is quite flattering. However; when i feel this way, i always try to remember that if, instead of making a speech, I was being hanged, the crowd would be twice as big."
