That leaves roughly 30% voted for each party... the majority of which voted for their party, not because of its politics or who the candidate was.

The USA has now endorsed him... I can see this pushing Terrorist Recruitement through the roof (as if it wasnt higher than ever already)...
The risk of a huge Terrorist attack has now escalated accordingly.
Mr Bush will of course now use the Spin "See I told you we needed Security"... despite the fact that its his policies that have raised the Stakes and the Risk...

I sadly agree Dan. But this time it is going to be worse. they are taking too long to make their next move in the USA/UK. I heard one politician let slip during the election that this time it is going to be 'chemical or biological', his words.I don't agree but I think it will happen
I am afraid in these circumstances, I become an extremist myself. If they are going to hit innocent civilians then find their Achilles heel and hit them hard. That is what they are doing. Do it back, threefold. If it means killing the families of the suicide bombers etc, then let them know that is your intention and carry it out.
Despite what some people might want you to think. The 'shoot to kill' policy helped bring an end to the Northen Ireland mess.
