Ok, the lock to the trunk on my car went tits up.
I guess the main reason is that it wont regognise the key anymore,
    the key is wearn out.

I had to change the lock strat-lock allready 2 years a go.
T'was a real hassle I tell you. And expensive.

The car I have is MB 230 CE from year 1990,
I bought from Germany, it was used a little,
    driven about 6000km.

Here's a pics of similar car (not my car, but the same):

Anyone has any good tricks to get into the trunk, or how to manually open the trunk from
    inside somehow.

I've hassled with the vacuum-air-pump, which was under the backseat allreay, didnt help.
    I think the lock is somehow stuck, as I was trying to open it with the key;
the luck got stuck on the far-right position when I turned the key, and wont
release itself back to normal position no more.

The battery has been Off, and On, and I had the Vacuum on and Off for the central lock allready,
tried to hassle with the Key but didnt do shit.

Im currently pretty pissed off about mercedes keys, again.

Im about to take a trip to local car-shop where i've done my bisnes before,
may that dude in there can help me a bit.

I think there's a metal plate behind the back seats, but I was wondering if any of you has done something similar before
    and could gimme some tips.

I think my only option now is to forcefully (or not) got via some opening behind the backseat.

    Wish me luck.

I know how to get in the doors but not the boots

I think if you can take the back seats down and get in there there is something you can fiddle with. Have you tried lifting the boot while wiggling the key?

    Good name change btw

    Heafty screwdriver in the lock
    Ring it open

That works on Escorts and Rovers, not sure about Mercs tho

I got a book, in Swedish actually, which is not a problem to me,
but when it comes to the Trunk on that book, every chapter begins:
    "Step 1.: Open the trunk...."

    So, it dont help much.

It helps for removing the backseats etc. which is not really a problem, but I thought of
askin before I remove everything, (and lose the screws etc)

My fear is there's a full metalplate behind the backseats, which means I have to cut through.
I can do that also, but I dont think it helps on a resale value.

Not a very helpful manual then

I think cutting a hole would definiteley reduce the resale value
Perhaps you should pay that car dealer a visit before taking them drastic steps .

Try one of your local garages. They will open it for you.
