I was messing around with my computer and then when I restarted, it stops loading at the "Welcome" screen. It just sits there doing nothing.

I have press CTRL+ALT+DEL to get to the process manager thing and start a new task (explorer.exe).

Anyone know how to fix this?

And if not, could you please tell me which copy of Windows XP is the best (downloading wise).

Messing around? What were you doing? Telling us that may help.

The best XP to download is Pro, and get a Volume Licence Key generator so you don't have to activate it.
if your font size is this small i'll add you to my ignore list because you're wasting my time, OK?

Try Safe mode, hit the F8 after the Bios screen,
keep hitting that key since you boot the PC,
aventually you should be able to get into the menu
    to boot to Safe Mode.

You could also try System Restore if you ever get to desktop,
or, just boot from Windows CD and do the Repair.
    Spoiler: Show

    Just a silly question.

How do you make it so when you hover the mouse over the clock, it will show the date?
