I've been trying to capture tv programmes using dr divx in divx format onto my hard drive but it displays the image (people, background) in predominately blue.

Anyone had this problem before and know the solution?

This is a known problem with dr.divx, have you tried to capture with a dedicated program, like iuvcr and with a codec meant for capturing, like Picvideo mjpeg or huffyuv and then recompressing with divx?

You can also fix this altering the image captured by the video card itself either before or after the capture.
Before: via the board drivers, it is called hue.
After: via virtualdub, but you will recompress the video -> loss of quality
