There is something fishy about these 2 internal switches, im 100% sure that leaving them in the closed position for a long time tells the memory that something is not right.And to be honest, if it was this easy to foil Sony, why would they bother ....... That would be the dumbest thing for sony to do. So if I left my pstwo closed for extended amounts of time, it would lock up? That would piss off so many people. And im sure there have been people using SM with it since it first came out. None of them are seeing any problems.

but maybe it senses different games are being played while the lid is closed or something

That guy didnt know what the person from ps2newz was talking about. He said "troublesome games". By that he was refering to those that need some sort of swapmagixfix. The system may or may not lock up when only the back censore is covered. Works perfectly fine with both covered.

And I am thinking the people that cant even get any games to boot arent restarting their system. The game wont start up automatically unless you do so.

already made a backup of a test copy and it worked
