    Looks like I've got it now.

    It wasn't there a couple of days ago otherwise I wouldn't have bothered with the Gmail Notifier.

    They ought to make the bit about using secure sockets a bit clearer.

    This is the best thing that has ever happened to web-based email!
    Hotmail, yahoo, lycos, pah! Who needs 'em!

    Also, I can finally ditch my stupid POP supporting ISP email address (which will be deleted if I ever leave my current ISP anyway).

    Gmail all the way!
