yes nsane why should we trust your version. you havent even put up a webpage about it. its said that you stole dans work and tried to go against him. and also on your version do you have to update a node reg file or not. and i tried your version and i got spyware in it. No way nsane there is only one true spyware free version and thats exlite.

now back on the subject of limewire pro, instead of stealing limewire's paid for version, why not make your own version from the CVS from limewire.org, like the one i use, that has added features like bittorrent and find sources by hash.

My opinion about eXeem Lite, it is completely adware and spyware free. According to what I have read in the KCeasy Forum, KCeasy is an open source code that anyone can use as long as it is a free program and has no adware or spyware added to it. Because I don't believe the developer did anything wrong unless he did add some adware or spyware to it. For your (Clean) eXeem is does create some Cydoor regisrty keys and an AdCache folder in System 32 folder in Windows folder. Although you can block the websites with the Host Manager, Cydoor is still active. Maybe you can find a way to completely remove Cydoor. From my tests on both eXeem Lite and your (Clean) eXeem, both function about the same way. Both have problems connecting and losing downloads. I lost several downloads after closing both versions and restarting the programs. I do not know if the official version has the same problem or not. I know it is still in the BETA stage, I will wait until a final version is released and try it out again. For an excellent alternative to eXeem, try BitLord http://www.bitlord.com it has two built in torrent searches and great download speeds twice as fast as eXeem. It uses BitComet's core and functions the same way.

and as for their KCeasy mod:
they are violating the GPL by not providing the full source including their modifications along with the binary. Open Source does not mean you can just take it and do whatever you want.
they are not just violating KCeasy's licence but also that of the Virtual Tree View and VLC both of which are GPLed as well.

I lost several downloads after closing both versions and restarting the programs.

did you think that MAYBE it's a problem with the original program as well?
