I don't want it reinstated in full, they can delete your posts for all I care.

I want my posts put back in the public record (as it were). Even if that means a little locked thread with them in. Same for anyone else who wants it.

I made my posts, well within the rules and I have no intention of losing them.

Also I think the mods should change the unwritten rules they work by on this matter, people should be allowed to request to lock their own threads but deletion should only be for threads that break rules.

So my reason is simple, I just want them back because they are mine. I don't like being deleted, especially by some bigoted idiot like you.

@Rf and Sara...Thankyou, I'm glad it's not just me, I keep being told he's a good guy and makes good points and all that crap, he's a fucking windup merchant and too many people are blind to his clever little posts that say what he wants but at the same time don't incriminate him. @Mods: It's not boredom that makes me post this I just want my posts back which have been deleted for no good reason.

Not shit stirring, I've made similar requests in the past when threads have been deleted and have had deleted threads reinstated after the thread starter requested they be removed.

I should have PM'ed this request, I'm regretting not doing so now because I would have made more headway than by starting a thread. I guess I could ask for it to be deleted.

@Junno: Go look for posts where you think I've been a "windup merchant", I think you'll find it's just me disagreeing with your posts and you getting your knickers bunched up.

The issue is being discussed in Team Chat.

Until its resolved, i'll continue using precidence.

On the issue itself (should thread starters be allowed to request their threads be trashed) I really dont have any opinion... except that threads will look even stupider without an initial post etc
