As for my system that could be it, I just got it, it's an older computer but has upgraded parts here and there. like I have a 1.8 ghz processor but only 128 mb's of ram, got a good video card but one of the worst sound cards you'll ever see

It meets the minimum requirements though so I don't know, Illustrator CS has higher specs than Photoshop and it runs like a dream, as does the rest of the suite. It's just Photoshop that's being a bitch.

Not a big deal though when i think about it, getting my money's worth from the rest of the programs, and PS CS isn't that much better than 7 I don't think. A few cool addons here and there but I can live w/o them, it's just annoying.
